Changing it up for the winter…
Posted in Uncategorized on December 10, 2009 by Red & Black CafeJust wanted to give you all a heads up that we will not be offering avocados or tomatoes during the winter months. The reason? We want to keep it local! Avocados were coming from Chile, and tomatoes were coming from who knows where. In an effort to keep our business as ethical and local as we can (as well as to keep costs down), we will be changing our menu slightly as the seasons change.
The only menu item 86′ed altogether for winter is the Green Goddess salad. We’ll miss you! In its place is a delicious Roasted Beet Salad, which includes a beet aioli, pecans and three different kinds of roasted beets. Yum! Please look over our menu for other changes and feel free to approach us with any feedback or questions you may have.
